Privacy Policy

This notice explains how Prestige Rent S.r.l., through its Italy Limo brand, processes the personal data of visitors to italylimo.com, pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Prestige Rent S.r.l. (owner of the Italy Limo brand), Via della Saggina 98, 50145 Florence, Italy. VAT number IT05745220482, registered with the Florence Register of Companies under REA no. FI 571489. Certified email (PEC): prestigerent@pec.it.

2. Data we process

• Data you send us through the contact form: name, company or agency, email address, phone number (optional), service of interest, travel dates and the content of your message.
• Data you send us by email: your email address and any information included in the message.
• Technical browsing data: the systems that run the website automatically record data such as IP address, browser type and time of the request, used only to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Replying to your enquiries and preparing quotations or proposals — necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and based on your consent given in the form (Art. 6(1)(a)).
• Protecting the website and the form against spam and abuse, and ensuring the security of the service — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Complying with legal obligations, where applicable (Art. 6(1)(c)).

Providing data in the form is optional, but without the required fields we cannot reply to your request. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Anti-spam protection

The contact form is protected by ALTCHA, a privacy-friendly verification system that runs a small calculation in your browser. It is hosted on our own website, does not use cookies, does not track you and does not send data to third parties.

5. Recipients

Your data is processed by authorised staff of Prestige Rent S.r.l. and, on our behalf, by providers acting as data processors: the website hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) and our email service provider. Where necessary to deliver a service you request, data may be shared with partners involved in organising your journey. Data is never sold.

6. Transfers outside the EU

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (for example in the United States). In such cases transfers rely on an adequacy decision (such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or on the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission.

7. Retention

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any subsequent relationship, and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last contact, unless a longer period is required by law (for example for contractual and tax records). Technical logs are kept for a short period by the hosting provider.

8. Your rights

You may at any time request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and object to processing (Articles 15–22 GDPR). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
